Payment Details

Unit sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees. Winning bids are required to contact the seller within 3 business days or vehicle will be relisted. All vehicles must be removed from township property within five business days. Dealers are required to bring their DIN for title transfer, all others are required to transfer title at local Notary. Payment made by certified check or money order made payable to Newtown Township, 100 Municipal Drive Newtown PA 18940. Decals will be removed prior to pickup.

Item Description

Up for bidding is a former police vehicle: 2015 Ford Expedition 4WD, 3.5L gas engine with power windows and door locks. VIN# 1FMJU1GT9FEF29324. This vehicle has 102,457 current miles on it (still in service) and all emergency equipment will be removed upon sale. Vehicle looks great and runs well. Was previously used by a Commander in Police dept and admin usage.

All items are offered for sale "AS IS / WHERE IS" with no warranty or guaranty expressed or implied: All sales are final. All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle or ask questions before bidding. Purchaser is responsible for all transfer, tax if applicable, and transportation costs. Dealers must present DIN. Buyer must take possession of the vehicle within 5 business days of purchase.

Please contact Chief Hearn, 215-579-1000 x 233: at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a pick-up time between the hours of 8 AM to 1 PM if winning bid. Payment must be made with CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER payable to Newtown Township at the time of pickup. NO CASH ACCEPTED.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
