Item Description

This auction is for four (4) copper ventilation roof hoods, manufactured by the Penn Ventilating Co. These hoods were removed during HVAC and roof replacements. Repairs will need to be made, especially to the bases, if purchased for re-use or architectural salvage. Photos are attached, the electric cable sheathing shown in pic #2 is NOT included in this auction. The approximate dimensions are:

Two (2) - 64-in H x 36-in D, with a 33-in base

One (1) - 68-in H x 30-in D, with a 33-in base

One (1) - 90-in H x 50-in D, with a 45-in base; this unit is in two pieces

Weight of units will not be provided as I don't have a means to accurately measure.

It is being sold “as-is, where-is” with no expressed or implied warranties. Successful bidder will be required to pay the amount due as a certified check, cashier’s check, or money order payable to "The School District of Jenkintown", before or at the time of pick-up. By submitting its bid, the successful bidder agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold the School District of Jenkintown harmless against any claim for personal injury or property damage caused by the item from the time the bidder takes possession. Payment and pick up must be made within 7 days of close of auction, shipping is not available. The successful bidder will be responsible for moving the equipment out of the building and loading it onto their vehicle.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
