Item Description

2013 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine and 117,958 miles. Everything else on the vehicle has been properly maintained.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect equipment before bidding. All property is offered in its "AS-IS", "WHERE-IS", and "WITH ALL FAULTS" condition. BOROUGH OF ALBURTIS MAKES NO WARRANTY, GUARANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, USABILITY, VALUE OR OTHER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROPERTY OFFERED FOR SALE, AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED REPRESENTATION, WARRANTIES AND GUARANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Seller’s Terms & Conditions

Prospective bidders may view the Vehicle and related documentation and further inspect and test drive the Vehicle by appointment arranged through the Office of the Borough Manager, 260 Franklin Street, Alburtis, PA 18011 (see contact information). The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder shall provide a certified check or bank check for the full amount bid to the Office of the Borough Manager within five (5) business days after the award. The Borough may refuse to complete settlement until after it confirms the validity of the check. At settlement, the Borough shall deliver the Certificate of Title to the Vehicle, executed for assignment to the successful bidder, and shall deliver the Vehicle (including keys) to the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all fees, costs, and expenses of obtaining a new Certificate of Title. The Vehicle is being sold by the Borough “AS IS” in the condition of the Vehicle as of the date it was listed on Municibid, and the Borough makes no representations or warranties to any bidder regarding the Vehicle or the condition of the Vehicle. The Borough shall make available to any prospective bidder, upon request, all records in its possession relating to the Vehicle. Any information so provided on existing conditions, circumstances, practices, procedures, maintenance, repair, and other subjects is provided by the Borough solely as a convenience to bidders. No such information is warranted or guaranteed as to accuracy or completeness by the Borough, and none of it shall be considered a covenant, representation, promise, agreement, warranty, or otherwise by the Borough; any reliance on such information is at the sole risk of the bidder. Each bidder shall perform its own investigation with regard to any matters it deems material.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
