Item Description

1973 16-Foot Equipment and Landscape Trailer

This trailer is titled as a homemade trailer, with the year 1973 stated on the title. It was purchased by the Township with the homemade title. The axles have been replaced at some point with 3,500 lb non-braking axles. Please note, the trailer does not have brakes and is not equipped with any braking system. The GVWR on the title is 3,000 lbs.

The trailer is in good, working condition. All the lights are fully functional, and it shows only minimal rust. It was stored in a pole barn throughout the Township’s ownership. The trailer also comes equipped with a lunette ring which is compitable pintle hitch.

Front Tires are good, Rear tires are low on tread and will need to be replaced at some point. Trailer also comes with a spare on a rim and a spare off rim (see photos). Tire size is 205 75 D15

A:	I am not sure how the NJ DMV will view this trailer for registration purposes. The Township here in PA has it registered with the DMV as exempt and a one time registration as all of our Municipal vehicles are. I do not see why you would have an issue getting a registration for it in NJ but I would contact the DMV for a definite answer. -Answered on 03/18/2026 09:04 AM

A:	Interior dimension of the deck, is 77" W x 192" L. The overal exterior dimensions are 8 ft W X 19' 10" L. The width for exterior is at the edge of the fender - travel width. If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
