Upon winning the auction, the winning bidder shall be required to submit a signed non-collusion form to the Town of Wakefield prior receipt of the equipment. As used in this certification, the word “person” shall mean any natural person, business, partnership, corporation, union, committee, club or other organization, entity, or group of individuals.” The winning bidder shall also certify, in writing, that, pursuant to M.G.L. c. 62C, §49A, that it is in compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts pertaining to taxes, to the reporting of employees and contractors, and to the withholding and remittance of child support. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging and completing in-person pickup of all purchased items at the Town of Wakefield Department of Public Works within ten (10) calendar days after the Town’s receipt of full payment. The Town does not provide shipping, delivery, or loading services, and shall bear no responsibility for the transportation of purchased goods.
